Complete training packages designed around your business
Alongside our traditional one day training sessions and our new online learning facility, Skills4Learning offers a complete training service to businesses, including Local Authorities and Care Agencies.
We will build a training package around your requirements. The process begins with an initial consultation, during which we assess the individual training needs of your company, and devise a personalised training package, which can include short courses, two day sessions and training online. The consultation, on-site training and all materials are included in our fee.
The package we devise will support your people to further develop their skills and competences. The cost of each course includes a consultation session and all materials. An example of an annual training programme prepared for a Local Authority:
- 12 one-day training sessions to cover the CWDC Training Support and Development Standards
- All foster carers complete training to the CWDC standards
- Four Skills-to-Foster courses for new fostering applicants
- Funding and support applications for all 20 foster carers to undertake NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Support in reclaiming funding from a range of statutory bodies
These courses were built around a range of topics from our current courses, a list of which can be found here. With the client in mind courses were delivered over half and full days and some courses were undertaken online.
