Studying Online
All our online courses meet the same high standards as Skills4Learning face-to-face training, and are available whenever and however you choose to learn
Our e-learning courses have been specifically designed to be completed online, and as such are clearly laid out to allow you to monitor your learning. Each course will clearly guide you through the topics with online support, learning aids, demonstrations and case studies. The online training aims to give participants a diverse range of learning materials including video, web links, PowerPoint presentations and quizzes to ensure that the courses remain interesting and informative.
Constructive feedback is given for all our courses, and each ends with an assignment that is submitted to and marked by a tutor. Upon completion of a course, you will receive a grade for work and formal certification. Each course typically consists of 8 hours learning time and completed within a time limit of 28 days. Assessment
Throughout the course you will complete a variety of self-reflection exercises, mini written assignments, and quizzes. The quizzes will be multiple choice and marked instantly by the system, giving you an idea of your progress. You can take an end of section quiz as many times as you want, so if you need to revisit a section, you can test your knowledge again at the end.
You can work through the course assignments at you own pace, in your own time, and each course ends with a final written assignment - marked by a real person - who can give advice on your individual strengths and weaknesses. You will also receive a certificate for each course you complete.
