This is a comprehensive two, three or four day preparation and evaluation course for people interested in fostering. It has been written by the Fostering Network. The course will cover the following.
- What do foster carers do?
- who are the children and young people?
- working together
- safer caring
- understanding behaviour
- moving on
This course is designed to challenge and inform, and the trainers will provide a comprehensive evaluation of the candidates over both days, providing the local authority or foster agency with robust written feedack on the suitability of the candidate.
The Course will also give potential foster carers the information to allow them to decide if fostering is right for them
The Cost
The cost is £1,000 to £2,000 plus VAT depending on the length of course you require.
