Basic Drug Awareness
An interactive and informative course about a range of drugs and their uses.
The course will include the following:
• An awareness of types of drugs and why they are used
• An awareness of the signs and symptoms of drug use
• An awareness of the social and personal effects of drug use and how these are commonly portrayed
• An awareness of society’s perceptions of and responses to drug use
This course can be delivered to a group of carers from one organisation at a cost of £600 for a maximum of 20 people. This will be delivered at the agency's own venue. The cost of this course includes a consultation visit with the trainer to ensure that the content of the session is tailored to the needs of the company and the client group.
